Explore, understand, and manage your ADHD — so you can thrive in life, work, and relationships.
If you’ve ever felt frustrated, overwhelmed, or misunderstood because of your ADHD, this service is designed for you. My ADHD Therapy combines occupational therapy and CBT-based strategies to help you understand how ADHD impacts your mind, body, and daily functioning, while also providing practical tools to manage it effectively.
This therapy is designed with women with ADHD in mind, recognising the unique ways ADHD presents in women — from emotional intensity and masking, to executive functioning challenges and rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD).
What You’ll Gain
A Deeper Understaing of Your ADHD
We explore your ADHD from multiple angles — how it affects your thinking, emotions, and body. By understanding your patterns, you can stop blaming yourself for struggles and start seeing your ADHD as part of your unique brain wiring.
Tools to Manage Thoughts, Emotions, and RSD
ADHD often comes with self-doubt, strong emotional reactions, and sensitivity to rejection. Through CBT-based strategies, you’ll learn how to reframe thoughts, manage emotions, and buffer rejection sensitive dysphoria, giving you greater control over your mental and emotional responses.
Practical Strategies For Daily Life
ADHD isn’t just about the mind — it affects your routines, tasks, and environment. We’ll work together to create personalised strategies to organise tasks, structure your environment, and adapt your workflow, home, or study space so it supports your strengths instead of working against you.
Support for WOrk, Education, and Life Adjustments
If you need accommodations in your workplace or educational setting, we’ll explore what adaptations will help you succeed. You’ll leave therapy with a clear plan for managing ADHD in all areas of life.
Empowerment and Confidence
ADHD Therapy isn’t just about coping — it’s about positioning yourself positively towards your ADHD, understanding your strengths, and feeling confident to navigate life on your own terms.
How It Works
Initial Assessment– We start with an intake session to explore your challenges, goals, and current strategies. This helps us tailor your therapy to your unique ADHD profile. In this session we migh start exploring some goals as well and agree on how many sessions you think you need. This can be revised at any time.
Therapeutic Sessions – Using a combination of occupational therapy and CBT-based techniques, we explore:
How ADHD impacts your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours
The link between your ADHD and your body (sensory and physiological aspects)
Practical strategies to manage tasks, environment, and routines
Ways to frame challenges and strengths to support emotional regulation and RSD
Ongoing Planning and Adaptation – Therapy is a collaborative process. We continuously review progress, adapt strategies, and support you in applying changes at work, school, or home. You’ll also have guidance on advocating for any accommodations or support you need.
