Gain clarity on your unique ADHD profile and confidence in understanding and asserting your needs.
If you’ve ever felt out of place because of the way you think, focus, or organize your life, this service is here to help you. My ADHD Assessment & Functional Report isn’t just about labeling; it provides a comprehensive understanding of your brain’s unique workings, along with personalized strategies to help you thrive, and formal evidence to secure the support you need.
This service is specifically designed for women with ADHD, acknowledging how ADHD can manifest differently in women, including masking, emotional intensity, and executive functioning challenges.
What You’ll Gain
A “Functional Map” of Your Brain, Not Just a Label
My assessment evaluates whether you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD according to NICE guidelines, but it goes much deeper. It offers a detailed understanding of how your nervous system operates, allowing us to uncover your unique neuro-functional profile. You’ll gain clarity on why some tasks come easily while others are a struggle, transforming frustration or feelings of “laziness” into actionable insights.
Personalized Life Hacks Based on Science
Say goodbye to generic advice! Your strategies will be tailored specifically to your sensory profile, your environment, and your executive functioning needs. Whether it’s adjusting your workspace or developing sensory diets, I’ll provide you with tools that align with how your brain works.
A “Functional Diagnosis” for Immediate Support
You don’t have to wait for a medical diagnosis to begin receiving help. This assessment offers a formal functional finding that can assist you in accessing Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) or Access to Work funding, giving you access to coaching and support while you navigate the traditional medical route.
Stronger First-Time Referrals
Long waitlists and denied referrals can be exhausting. My report gives you a solid evidence base, including DIVA-5 and functional analysis, that meets NICE-compliant criteria. This enhances your chances of being placed on a waitlist instead of being brushed off as “stress” or “anxiety.”
Differentiating ADHD from the “Imposters”
Sometimes ADHD in women can be confused with anxiety, burnout, or sensory processing issues. My assessment ensures that we accurately identify the condition, so your interventions tackle the real challenges, whether they stem from focus issues, sensory overload, or something else entirely.
How It Works
1. ADHD Screening: Before diving into a full assessment, I recommend a brief ADHD screening to gauge your likelihood of having ADHD. This helps you make an informed decision about your next steps. I’m here to support you in interpreting the results, and this initial screening is FREE as part of our consultation.
2. Comprehensive Assessment: If you decide to proceed, we’ll conduct a clinical ADHD assessment through a women-focused lens, exploring executive function, attention patterns, emotional regulation, and sensory processing using standardized, evidence-based interviews. You’ll receive a solid, clinically valid profile of your ADHD.
3. Functional Report & Strategies: You’ll get a detailed report outlining your ADHD profile, personalized strategies, and actionable hacks for daily life. This report will guide your therapy, coaching, or any workplace or educational accommodations you may need. I’ll be there to help you implement these strategies and advocate for your needs.
Further Support After Your Report
Opt for a one-on-one ADHD Diagnostic Debrief Session to discuss your results and clarify any questions.
Continue your support with 1:1 therapy or join one of my online ADHD groups designed for women.
If needed, I can refer you to private services or advocate with your GP for medication support. Just bear in mind that each service has different acceptance policies, and I can’t guarantee what your local GP or NHS service will offer.
